El término "inmigrantes" en los titulares de prensa: entre interculturalidad e hibridación

Adopting the perspective of discourse analysis about migration as well as the principles of intercultural communication, in this paper we carry out a lexicosemantic study of the term "immigrants" in the Spanish national press and in the so-called foreign or inmigrant press in Spain. Our aim is to see how these media build alterity by elaborating migrant identities, and investigate whether they strengthen understanding between communities through the elaboration of discursive hybrid identities.A partir de los postulados del análisis del discurso sobre la inmigración y los planteamientos de la comunicación intercultural, en este artículo llevamos a cabo un análisis léxico-semántico del término �inmigrantes� en la prensa nacional y en la llamada prensa extranjera o inmigrante en España. Nuestro objetivo es analizar cómo estos espacios de mediación construyen la alteridad, elaborando distintas identidades relacionadas con la inmigración, y determinar de qué manera promueven el acercamiento entre comunidades y la elaboración positiva de identidades discursivas híbridas
